Split Personality Disorder - Is there a Common Myth Behind?

The split personality disorder is often confused as a schizophrenia disorder, however the two conditions are not the same. The split personality disorder is commonly known by many names, such as dual personality disorder or multiple personality disorder. Some people even refer to the condition as a dissociative disorder. The symptoms are distinct from one person to another. Often victims experience loss of memory and might not even remember who they are and also those around. This includes their families and friends.
Therefore, it would be sensible to urgently inform a psychiatrist, if you are somebody who might be suffering from the disease.
